AppFoundry Partner Responsibility
For a ISV Application to be installable or usable, a customer must have an active subscription for the ISV add-on. Upon a fully amended customer subscription, the unique permission (license, if associated in Genesys Cloud Billing Services) of the application will be available for user assignment. Once purchased, the ISV Application will be available in one (1) of two (2) ways:
- ISV Client Applications: Visible and installable within the Integrations menu (Admin -> Integrations -> Add New) of Genesys Cloud.
- Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework: The ISV Applications are not visible in the Integrations menu within Genesys Cloud. These type of addons run in external systems, not Genesys Cloud. Customers administer the unique permission of the ISV Application within Genesys Cloud for access control. The installation tasks of this type of ISV Application occurs within the external application (example: CRM). Each AppFoundry Partner supplies this installation package to the customer outside of Genesys.
The AppFoundry Partner is responsible for enforcement of the Genesys Cloud License within their application. Customers are responsible for applying the Genesys Cloud License to their applicable users. Below is a graphic which shows the Quote to Payment process:
