- Pre-pay Annual - All Genesys Cloud user licenses or metering commitment including your ISV Application are billed up front based on the customer commitment per applicable item. Overages of users licenses or metered usage including ISV Applications, tabulated monthly, are invoiced on a monthly basis.
- Example: License Usage Based - Customer purchased 10 users of the ISV Client Application, but they use 15 users for the month. The customer will be billed for the current month for 5 overage users.
- Example: Metered Usage Based - Commitment = 1000 minutes @ $0.25; Committed Rate @ $0.25 per; Actual usage for the month = 1250 minutes for the month
- Commitment (Paid up front) = $250 (1000 x $0.25)
- Invoiced Amount for the Month = $62.50 (250 x $0.25)
- Example: Non-Usage Based - Customers will be billed up front for the subscription term of the ISV Application at the Pre-pay Annual price. A customer purchasing a Fixed Price Monthly ISV Application at $100 per month will pay $1200 ($100 x 12 Months) up front for the use of the application.
- Annual Month-to-Month - All Genesys Cloud user licenses or metering commitment including your ISV Application are are billed monthly based on the customer commitment per subscription item. Overages of users licenses or metered usage including ISV Applications, tabulated monthly, are invoiced on a monthly basis.
- Example: License Usage Based - Customer purchased 10 users of the ISV Client Application, but they use 15 users. The customer will be billed for the current month for 10 subscribed users and 5 overage users.
- Example: Metered Usage Based - Commitment = 1000 minutes @ $0.25; Committed Rate @ $0.25 per; Actual usage for the month = 1250 minutes for the month
- Invoiced Amount for the Month = $312.50 ((1000 x $.025) + (250 x $0.25))
- Example: Non-Usage Based - Customers will be billed monthly for subscription term of the ISV Application at the Annual Month-to-Month price of $110 per month.
- Month-to-Month - All Genesys Cloud user licenses or metering commitment including your ISV Application are billed monthly based on actual usage. In this billing model ISV Applications have no monthly commitment, only actual usage is billed.
- Example: License Usage Based - If zero usage is counted, then 0 usage will be billed. If 15 users are licenses used within a month. The customer will be billed for 15 users.
- Example: Metered Usage Based - Actual usage for the month = 1250 minutes for the month
- Invoiced Amount for the Month = $412.50 (1250 x $0.33)
- Example: Non-Usage Based - Customers will be billed monthly for subscription term of the ISV Application at the Month-to-Month price of $115.
Please be aware that Genesys on-demand pricing for customers with annual pre-pay or annual month-to-month pricing equals the rate of their committed licenses. Genesys does not charge a ISV rate for on-demand usage.
